Skottsberg @ Have a Knives Day. A day full of fire, steel and flavor

On September 6, Apeldoorn was all about fire, razor-sharp tools and fiery conviviality. We were there, of course, at the invitation of our friends from Knives and Tools, during the fifth edition of their Have a Knives Day event. And what a day it was!

As many as 600 visitors descended on this day full of promotional prices, live demos and steaming BBQs. You could sharpen your knives, feel the pans, test tools and talk to the brands behind the steel. Not a dull fair floor, but an event that sparkled. Just the way we like it.

Skottsberg was present with a complete setup and, of course, our chef David Pauka behind the fire. In our cast iron and steel pans he prepared the most delicious fish and meat dishes, juicy, crispy and packed with flavor. And you smelled that. And you tasted it. People lingered, asked questions, shared stories and went home with a smile (and often a pan).

What stood out most of all? A super engaged audience. The Knives and Tools knows what they are talking about and is not afraid to ask questions. We love that. Because the more you know about your tools, the better you handle them.
