Recipe: Gin tonic with melon
Refreshing and fruity! In this gin tonic we incorporated a Cantaloupe melon. This melon has a fresh, soft sweet taste and goes perfectly with Gin Tonic. The use of melon gives this Gin Tonic a summery character. The best is to serve it with balls of melon as garnish and possibly a bowl of Parma ham and pieces of Cantaloupe. Alternatively, you can choose a Galia melon.
Ingredients:
- 1 cantaloupe melon (or Galia/watermelon)
- 50 grams of white cane sugar
- Gin
- Tonic
- Ice cubes
Recipe
Cut the melon into small pieces and put them in a blender with the sugar and a little water (half a glass). Blend the whole until you get a pulp. Sieve this pulp into a glass. Fill 4 glasses with ice cubes. Fill each glass with about 100 ml of melon juice, 60 ml of gin and a little bit of tonic. To finish it off, garnish your drink with a ball of melon or thread it on a skewer and place it on the glass. Enjoy!
