Lacor is a Spanish brand founded in 1949 by Marcos Larrañaga Chinchurreta in Bergara, in the Basque Country. What began as a small workshop producing aluminum household items grew into a leading brand in professional cookware, operating in more than 90 countries. The name “ Lacor ” is a combination of the surnames of the founder and his wife, Larrañaga and Cortabarría. “ Lacor ” was the first Spanish manufacturer of large stainless steel pans with a one-piece heat-distributing base. By investing in automation, the brand delivers products with a high-quality finish, made from materials free of harmful substances. Since 2017, Lacor has been the official cookware partner of the Basque Culinary Center.
