Restaurant Gérard on the Vrijthof in Maastricht opened in early 2025 in the middle of the iconic square. The establishment is run by two inspired hospitality entrepreneurs who put their love for hospitality, taste and atmosphere into every detail. The result is a warm, accessible restaurant where locals and visitors alike feel right at home.

Café Noir dinnerware as the perfect match

To furnish the table, in collaboration with Lucien Franssen of Maastricht Porselein Winkel, they chose Maastricht Porselein's Café Noir series. The matte black dinnerware with warm brown rim perfectly matches the look of the restaurant and offers the sturdiness that intensive use demands. A stylish combination that lifts the dishes and completes the overall picture.
