Terms of Delivery

1. Franco order amount

For deliveries within Europe, goods are shipped by road on a DAP (Delivered At Place) basis. Wegter Brands carefully Wegter Brands the most efficient carrier at the best possible rate. For deliveries within the Netherlands, a free shipping threshold of €650 per order applies. For orders below this amount, shipping costs of €65 per pallet will be charged. Deliveries are made exclusively City pallets.

For shipments outside Europe, as well as for air freight shipments within Europe, the FCA Oldenzaal delivery terms in accordance with Incoterms® 2020 apply. The minimum order value for free delivery outside the Netherlands varies by country. For orders below the applicable minimum order value, shipping costs per pallet will be charged. Customs documents such as CoO, ATR, Ex-A, and similar documents will be invoiced separately based on the current rate of the customs broker.

2. Placing an order and delivery time

For the Netherlands, orders placed on business days before 12:00 PM will be delivered on the second business day following the order. Deliveries are generally City 2 to 3 business days after order confirmation, provided all items are in stock.

• Order by Monday at 12:00 p.m. = delivery on Wednesday
• Order by Thursday at 12:00 p.m. = delivery on Monday

For Europe and beyond, orders placed on business days before 12:00 PM can be shipped the next business day, provided that any payment obligations have been met and any special requirements, such as customs formalities, have been fulfilled.

• Deliveries City take place City 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Alternative delivery times are available for an additional fee.
• If no one is present at the time of delivery, the customer will be charged for the additional costs of a second delivery.
• In addition, deliveries are made exclusively on Euro pallets. These pallets must be exchanged upon delivery. If an exchange is not possible, a charge of €25 per Euro pallet will be applied./ul>

The delivery date is always determined in consultation with the customer.

3. Inventory and border-free

Only items that are available directly from stock count toward the free shipping threshold. Items on backorder, items ordered specifically for the customer, or items that are not immediately available are not included in this calculation.

4. Combining orders

Customers are responsible for combining orders to reach the free shipping threshold. Wegter Brands not Wegter Brands automatic order consolidation and cannot reserve stock.

5. Backorders

Backorders will be included free of charge with the next delivery or shipment that meets the free shipping threshold. If a backorder is shipped earlier as a separate shipment, shipping charges will apply.

6. Samples

Samples can be included with a regular order at 50% of the gross price or with a 50% discount on the list price, depending on the applicable pricing. Shipping costs will be charged for individual or separate sample shipments; within the Netherlands, this amounts to €10 per parcel shipment. For larger, non-standard, or international shipments, shipping costs are determined based on the size and destination of the shipment.

7. Returns

Return requests must be submitted in writing within 14 days of receiving the shipment and will only be accepted upon approval.

• Goods must be in their original, undamaged condition and suitable for resale. Where applicable, goods must be in their original packaging.
• For approved returns, a credit of up to 75% of the original invoice amount will be issued.
• Return shipping is always at the customer's expense.

Returns that do not meet these conditions will be rejected and will not be credited.

8. Damage and Shortages

Damage, missing items, shortages, or quality defects must be reported in writing, accompanied by clear photographic evidence. For deliveries within the Netherlands, the reporting period is no later than 2 business days after receipt. For deliveries outside the Netherlands, the reporting period is 14 business days after receipt.

Reports submitted after this deadline cannot be processed.

9. Changes and Cancellations

Once the order has been processed, changes or cancellations can no longer be made free of charge. If you have any questions, please contact our customer service team before placing your order.
