The recreation market is constantly evolving. During Pleisureworld’s two-day Glamping Inspiration Tour, we from Wegter Brands were Wegter Brands to gather inspiration, identify trends, and above all: to see what’s really happening on the ground. Over the course of two days, we visited a wide range of parks. From high-end resorts to small-scale nature campsites: each with its own vision, target audience, and vibe. It was precisely this diversity that made the tour so valuable. It provided a complete picture of where the market stands today.

From concept to experience

What stood out is that the bar keeps getting higher. Guests expect more than just a place to stay. They seek tranquility, comfort, and a holistic experience that’s perfect down to the smallest details. The combination of nature and comfort is no longer a bonus, but the standard. Being outdoors without sacrificing convenience. That calls for thoughtful choices in design, materials, and use.

At the same time, the importance of a well-defined concept is growing. The most successful venues know exactly who their target audience is and tailor their offerings entirely to that audience. From the type of accommodation to the ambiance and furnishings, everything must be tailored to the target audience.

The power of detail

What made this tour particularly valuable were the candid stories behind the concepts. Not theory, but real-world experience. What works, what doesn’t, and where do the challenges lie? That’s exactly where we see where we can make a difference. Because a strong experience often lies in the details. In a kitchen that feels just right, a table that invites you in, and a stay that feels complete.

Building the guest experience together

We incorporate these insights into how we support our customers—not just with products, but with a carefully considered approach to the overall design. Everything is always tailored to the concept, the target audience, and practical use.

Curious about how to apply these insights to the visitor experience at your park? Together, we’ll create an experience that feels just right, from the first impression to the very last moment.
