Our road to B Corp: an interim view
We are now a few months into our B Corp journey. A lot of work has been done, but we are not there yet. We will make our submission in October and we hope to be officially B Corp certified early next year.
What we are working on
Environmental impact
Together with Root Sustainability, we map the impact of our products. This helps us make production processes more sustainable and better material choices.
Good employment practice
Our staff handbook has been updated, including a flask policy, tightened code of conduct, welfare policy and a focus on sustainable working from home. We are also exploring the possibility of a healthy lunch.
Volunteering
This is now official policy. The first collaboration with a local healthcare facility has taken place and we want to expand this further.
Customer satisfaction
Our customers are a crucial stakeholder. We continue to actively measure and manage customer satisfaction, because without them we cannot achieve our sustainability ambitions.
Ethical marketing
No greenwashing, but honest and transparent. We only print materials that are really needed, always on recycled or FSC-certified paper. We use AI only when it contributes to quality and insight.
Impact Strategy
With our impact strategy, we set long-term goals and work from clear pillars. In this way, we are already building the future.
Suppliers
We have established a Code of Conduct that is signed by our suppliers. We also conduct supplier screening in order to work more transparently and sustainably together.
Energy consumption
Thanks to solar panels, a battery, better insulation and a new air treatment system, our energy consumption has decreased significantly.
Full speed ahead
We are proud of what we have already achieved. The road to B Corp is intensive, but also inspiring. It makes us sharper, more aware and even more connected to our mission: to contribute to the most beautiful table moments, in a way that is good for people, the environment and society.
