The saucepan is indispensable when preparing sauces. Thanks to its tight-fitting lid, this pan is perfect for reducing, reheating and keeping sauces warm. Smaller saucepans are ideal for delicate reductions, while the larger variants are also suitable for soups or cooking small portions. The 16 cm variant has a convenient handle, making it easy to handle the pan. A must-have in any kitchen where sauce is prepared to perfection.
The Skottsberg Stainless Steel saucepan is appreciated for a number of special features. The pan features a special Tri bottom, composed of three layers: 18/10 stainless steel, aluminum and magnetic stainless steel. Stainless steel is durable, easy to maintain and easy to clean. The aluminum core, encapsulated between two layers of stainless steel, ensures that your ingredients are heated evenly. This aluminum layer extends all the way to the sides, so the entire pan heats up quickly and evenly, right to the rim. As a result, the chance of sticking is minimal and your cooking is also energy-efficient.
Thanks to the magnetic stainless steel outer layer, this saucepan is suitable for induction as well as all other heat sources. Moreover, the bottom has the ideal thickness (2.5 mm) to prevent warping on induction. The pan has an industrial look, is durable, energy-saving and, when used properly, guarantees a lifetime of cooking pleasure. With a diameter of 16 cm, it is compact and powerful. After use it simply goes into the dishwasher.

- Prevent warping: avoid thermal shocks
How do you use the saucepan?
To prevent your food from sticking to the bottom, follow these steps: Let the pan heat slowly over low heat. After a minute, drop a few drops of water into the pan. Do they "dance?" Then the pan is up to temperature. Only then add oil or butter. Then lower the heat by about 30%. The pan will then have enough heat to cook your ingredients without burning them. Let butter melt until it is browned out, or wait until the oil is well heated. Let the ingredients that are still a bit sticky fry gently - try not to pull them loose. Otherwise, turn down the heat slightly and wait patiently for them to loosen on their own. Maintaining and cleaning your stainless steel saucepan
Allow the pan to cool thoroughly after use. Never put a hot pan directly under the cold tap - this causes thermal shock and may warp. Has the pan cooled down sufficiently? Clean it with warm water and a soft dishwashing brush or a scratch-free scouring pad. Does food residue remain? Then soak the pan in warm water with some dish soap for a few hours. Pour off the water and scrub well. You can also clean the pan in the dishwasher, but for longevity, we recommend washing it by hand. And: make sure it is thoroughly dry before storing it - stainless steel likes a dry place, too.
