The " Lux " series from Maastricht Porselein is an extremely durable yet lightweight tableware collection. Lux is perfect for a wide variety of uses. Each piece is easy to mix and match, comfortable to handle, and of solid quality. The “ Lux ” tableware features a soft off-white color and a timeless design. This oval “ Lux ”Bowl, measuring 13 x 10 cm with a capacity of 40 cl, is perfect for Serveware side dishes, and its soft color makes it easy to pair with wooden serving boards and other tableware sets. And after use, this “ Bowl ” can be washed in the dishwasher.
Porcelain
Porcelain is a mixture of feldspar, kaolin and quartz. These minerals are mixed and pulverized in a certain proportion. Then this mixture is mixed with water and formed into a product using a mold. This raw product (called cookie) is usually first baked at about 1100℃. Then the product is glazed and fired again at a very high temperature somewhere between 1250 and 1380℃.
