Skottsberg Have a Knives . A day full of fire, steel, and flavor

On September 6, Apeldoorn was all about fire, razor-sharp tools lively camaraderie. Of course, we were there—at the invitation of our friends at Knives Tools—for the fifth edition of their “Have a Knives event. And what an event it was!

No fewer than 600 visitors turned out for this day packed with special offers, live demos, and sizzling BBQs. You could have your knives sharpened, feel the pans, tools , and chat with the brands behind the steel. It wasn’t a boring trade show—it was an event that was buzzing with energy. Exactly how we like it.

Skottsberg there with a full setup and, of course, our chef David Pauka at the stove. In our cast-iron and steel pans, he prepared the most delicious fish and meat dishes—juicy, crispy, and bursting with flavor. And you could smell it. And taste it. People lingered, asked questions, shared stories, and went home with a smile (and often a pan, too).

What stood out the most? A super engaged audience. The Knives Tools knows what they’re talking about and isn’t afraid to ask questions. We love that. Because the more you know about your tools, the better you can use them.
