Wegter Grootverbruik will continue under the name Wegter Brands
The name change is part of our (growth) strategy, in which the focus is more strongly on the development and international sales of our own brands. This is immediately the reason why Wegter Grootverbruik as a company name is no longer adequate.
Own brands are the future
Over the past 10 years, we have focused on developing our own products and brands, including our own cookware brand and tableware brands. Guy Wegter, director/owner of Wegter and fourth generation at the helm, states: 'We are now active in over 40 countries and have recently taken our first steps into the United States. We do not want to sell mainstream products; instead, we believe in our own brands with a unique character. This means quality products under a quality brand name.'
Our company's slogan is "happiness around the table". That is what we, as a team, work on every day. Dining is an experience, and we observe that preferences in the hospitality industry and among people at home are becoming increasingly diverse. We aim to offer the market a unique, refreshing perspective.
