The unique glaze is created by a special production process called "Reactive glaze," in which the item is fired twice in the kiln, resulting in striking colors. Stoneware is a type of porcelain made of clay with a fine grain fired at 1000 to 1100°C. Firing this material at a high temperature makes it stronger than average pottery and therefore very suitable for daily use. In addition, stoneware can be used in the oven, magnetron and the dishwasher. This material is color and odor resistant. The robust look makes stoneware dinnerware enormously popular.
