The unique glaze is created by a special production process called "reactive glaze," in which the item is fired twice in the kiln, resulting in striking colors. Stoneware is a type of porcelain made of clay with a fine grain fired at 1000 to 1100°C. Firing this material at a high temperature makes it stronger than average pottery and therefore very suitable for daily use.
